Non-Emergent Consults

Non-emergent consults can be easily scheduled by the ordering physician or by hospital administrators.  You may call during office hours and speak with our staff or you may request an appointment by filling out the form on the right. During off hours, follow the prompts and you will be directly connected to a staff member to begin the scheduling process.  Be sure to have the following when you call:

  • Patient’s demographics
  • Insurance information
  • ICD10 codes and all pertinent clinical information
  • Referring physician and hospital facility
  • Doctor/Facility e-mail

Once scheduled, you will receive further instructions to our telemedicine platform.

Emergent Consults

Emergent consults are handled differently and as expeditiously as possible. The goal of emergent appointments are to give access, clinical guidance and neurological expertise when none are readily available to the hospital team.

All emergent situations should call our main office number (during after hours, call the main office number and hit “0” to be routed to our service). When speaking to staff, tell them where you are from and that you are requesting an emergent telemedicine appointment. You will be routed to the administrator in charge for further instructions.  Be sure to have ready:

  • Patient’s demographics
  • Insurance information
  • ICD10 codes and all pertinent clinical information
  • Referring physician, facility name and e-mail

Once scheduled, receive a confirmation email with instructions to our video conference platform. Immediately upon receipt, follow the directions in the confirmation email and log in to begin the video conference.
