A Message from Dr. Bressler
Northern Neurology Specialties is an independent, boutique neurology practice delivering specialty neurology care in the communities that we serve. We utilize one or a combination of conservative, aggressive, therapeutic and holistic approaches to medical care.
Every patient that walks through our door has a unique health story. My primary focus with patients is on the specialty of neurology, neurological diseases, diagnostic testing, investigating and diagnosing, leading to the development of an individualized treatment plan and strategy of care.
As part of your treatment plan, our thoroughness and investigation of your neurological conditions may seek the opinions of other medical and non-medical providers from different disciplines, such as neurosurgery, rheumatology, pain management, orthopedic, cardiology, physical therapy, acupuncture, neuropsychology, infectious disease and many others.
While we treat and oversee your entire neurological care, it is very important that you have an internist or primary care physician part of your medical team. When you come to our office for diagnosis and treatment, we collaborate and consistently report our findings and progress to your internist because they play a central role in putting together and managing your entire healthcare. So, if you do not have an internist or primary care doctor, seek one out and make them a part of your health team.
Communication and teamwork brings together patients, parents, teacher, caretaker, primary care physicians and other specialists. My staff is an integral part of your healthcare plan as I depend on them to assist in the numerous, day-to-day administrative functions of your care and well being.
Northern Neurology Specialties prides itself in being independent, serving our local communities as well as patients that come from abroad. We also implemented a video visit or telemedicine program for qualified individuals which provides greater flexibility for our patients.

About our team
JILL ANNE BRESSLER, M.D.
President and Founder, Northern Neurology Specialties
Dr. Bressler is a native Long Islander who has been practicing neurology since 1997. She is a graduate of Adelphi University, Magna Cum Laude, in Biology and Music Performance. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York, Health Sciences Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. and completed her internal medicine training at Cornell University Medical Center. She completed her neurology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital and completed her fellowship in Cerebrovascular Diseases at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital and is a Research Fellowship Alumni at the National Institutes of Health.
After finishing her fellowship, she went into private practice and subsequently opened her own private practices in Englewood Cliffs, N.J. and on Long Island, N.Y. and is the Founder and President of Northern Neurology Specialties. Dr. Bressler is a Diplomate in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties, is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the New York State Medical Society, Nassau County Medical Society, and a member of the American Epilepsy Society.
Dr. Bressler is a trained, concert violinist and, when time permits, continues to enjoy playing for community orchestras. She has an interest in fitness, kick boxing, is certified in acupuncture and has a son who works as a financial advisor at a major wall street firm.
